Florida Weekly Features Lighthouse’s 80th Anniversary Gala

Lighthouse for the Blind of the Palm Beaches, Treasure Coast & Okeechobee was recently featured in Florida Weekly in an article highlighting its upcoming 80th Anniversary Gala and the community leaders helping make this milestone celebration possible.


The article, “Guiding Light: A Glittering Gala Honoring 80 Years of Service,” recognizes Bonnie Hawthorne, owner of Lilly Lovers of the Palm Beaches, as chair of the December 3 gala. The event will celebrate Lighthouse’s history while raising funds to support programs that help people who are blind or visually impaired build confidence and independence.
